Notice has been given that:
Allen Harim Foods LLC, requests a permit to operate the existing Pellet Cooler 1 and Pellet Cooler 2 at their 20799 Allen Road, Seaford, Sussex County facility with new emission limits. Pellet Cooler 1 will be permitted to emit 15.5 TPY PM2.5 and 16.0 TPY PM10 by Permit# APC-2008/0082-OPERATION (Amendment 6)(GACT). Pellet Cooler 2 will be permitted to emit 15.5 TPY PM2.5 and 16.8 TPY PM10 by Permit# APC-2015/0100-OPERATION (Amendment 2)(MNSR)(GACT).
The application for this permit may be reviewed upon request. The application is posted at de.gov/dnrecnotices. A public hearing on any of the above applications will NOT be held unless the Secretary of DNREC receives a request for a hearing regarding that application within 15 days from the date of this notice, ending February 3, 2025. A request for a hearing shall be in writing. The request must also show a familiarity with the application and a reasoned statement of the permit’s probable impact.
