The Technical Climate Advisors are experts from state agencies, higher education and other institutions tasked with evaluating and updating the State’s sea level rise, temperature and precipitation scenarios every five years to be used in the state Climate Action Plan and in support of other climate and sustainability initiatives.
The group is established in the Delaware Code (7 Del. Code § 10005) as part of the Climate Change Solutions Act of 2023. Individual members are appointed by the Secretary of DNREC.
Meetings are listed on both the DNREC Calendar of Events and on the Delaware Public Meeting Calendar.
The Technical Climate Advisors are one of two committees established by the Climate Change Solutions Act. The other committee is the Climate Change Officers.
